CITRIX TEST DRIVE KIT INFORMATION The Citrix Test Drive Kit contains two diskettes: a Win16 diskette for use with Windows 3.1 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11, and a Win32 diskette for use with Windows NT 3.5x/4.0 and Windows 95. These diskettes let you take WinFrame for a test drive by connecting to a remote WinFrame server. This is the real thing. You will actually be making a connection to a WinFrame application server provided by the organization that gave you the diskettes. Depending on the connection types your WinFrame provider supports, you will need either an existing Internet connection or a modem and telephone line. The Test Drive for Windows 95 and Windows NT reqires about 1.9 MB of free disk space. The Test Drive for Windows 3.x requiress 1.5 MB of disk space. INSTALLING THE TEST DRIVE Install the Test Drive by inserting the appropriate diskette (Win16 or Win32) into your computer's floppy drive and running A:\SETUP.EXE from Program Manager. During installation you are asked to specify an installation location, the desired connection types if your provider supports both TCP and Dial-In connections, and your modem type if you select Dial-In connections. On Windows 3.x and Windows NT 3.5x systems, a program group is created which contains a set of icons that: - Allow you to run the WinFrame Test Drive - Represent pre-configured connections to the provider's WinFrame server(s) - Let you view this file - Remove the Test Drive Under Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 , the programs will also be added to the Program Start menu and a folder will be created on the desktop which contains links for the functions listed above. STARTING THE TEST DRIVE Double-click on the Test Drive icon for the desired connection type to establish a connection to the Test Drive server. ENDING THE TEST DRIVE From the Program Manager of the WinFrame server, click on File and then click on Logoff. The Program Manager will then tell you that you are about to logoff. Click on OK. The WinFrame desktop closes and you are returned to your local Windows desktop. REMOVING THE TEST DRIVE On Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, remove the Test Drive by using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel under the My Computer folder. On Windows 3.x and Windows NT 3.5x, remove the Test Drive by double-clicking on the Uninstall icon in the WinFrame Test Drive program group.
